The brief

Onlife is a daily planning app that turns a messy schedule into a clear plan. Its marketing site was built on a hosted page builder, and one morning that host stopped serving it. Every page, every blog article and every App Store link went dark, along with the search rankings behind them.

What we built

  • A faithful rebuild of all 53 pages, 20 core pages plus the blog index and 32 articles, matching the original design exactly rather than redesigning it.
  • All 277 original images recovered and served locally, including every responsive variant, so nothing depended on the old host.
  • The whole site moved onto Cloudflare and back on its own domain, with automated deploys from a repository the team controls.

SEO and AEO

  • Every original URL preserved, so no ranking page turned into a dead link and no redirect chain was needed.
  • Canonicals, sitemap and robots rebuilt from scratch, because the old host had taken those with it.
  • Article schema restored across all 32 blog posts, which is what makes them eligible to be quoted by AI assistants.
“We went from a dead website to fully live in a day, and nobody outside the team noticed it had gone.”Product lead, Onlife
